Easter or Passover
I think it would be safe to say that most people would say these two words have the same meaning! In all reality they have totally separate meanings. Christians today have been deceived in celebrating Easter as Passover.
Easter comes from several different names like (estre, eastre) for a prehistoric Pagan holiday festival that celebrates the spring equinox. This was celebrated before Jesus Christ even died on the cross for us. These names were also given for goddesses (Eastre,Ishtar) of dawn and heaven. The very word estrogen comes from easter. Fertility is definitely evident.
The traditional sunrise service is in fact a holdover from the sun worshippers, who would gather at the spring equinox to witness the rebirth of the sun, which they believed died annually and made sacrificial offerings to so that the coming year would be a bountiful one.
The rabbit has long been a symbol of fertility, and rabbits were sacrificed to the pagan goddess Ishtar, which is pronounced exactly like Easter, in her honor. The rabbit is well known as a sexual symbol of fertility. In various parts of the world, religions which developed from Babel also associate the rabbit with periodicity, both human and lunar (Egypt, China, etc.). As you may remember, the Mother Goddess Semiramis (Easter) is associated with the Moon. In other words, the Easter bunny symbolizes the Mother Goddess. Annual Spring time fertility rituals are associated worship of the Mother Goddess and Tammuz, the reincarnation of her husband Nimrod. I imagine you can guess what the fertility rituals consisted of, they gathered together and performed orgies. Are you starting to see the big picture. Have you ever seen the Play Boy Bunny? Yes, I agree it’s disgusting to even associate rabbits and coloring of eggs to celebrate our Messiahs death and resurrection. A day when Pagans used rabbits and eggs to symbolize fertility and gathered to have orgies should never be associated with Passover.
Eggs also are a symbol of fertility and rebirth. The goddess Astarte (Syrian for Ishtar) was believed to have hatched from a huge egg that dropped from the sky into the Euphrates river. When Astarte's (Ishtar's) husband Bel, or Baal, (Tammuzz) died, the people were ordered to mourn and fast for forty days, abstaining from meat and eggs, which were considered sacred to the goddess. From this fable comes the traditional observance of Lent.
The traditional serving of the baked ham comes from an ancient sacrificing of a pig to the Pagan goddess.
The followers of Ishtar also made cakes for the Queen of Heaven, decorated with a cross, a symbol that represented life in Egyptian hieroglyphics. Today we have Hot Cross Buns.
If you’re a true Christian you want find it hard to realize the facts on this matter. Satan is definitely deceiving the whole world. The word easter is not in the original manuscripts but was added to the translation texts by Kenite priest through Satan to ruin the most important Christian holiday there is. Satan wanted to corrupt that day and succeeded. You will find the word easter in Acts 2:14 but still has nothing to do with the death and resurrection of our Messiah.
So we have another modern holiday that has risen from prehistoric times as Pagan rituals and practiced generation after generation until everyone just does it because they think it’s ok and never really even know why they do it. 95% of our churches today practice these disgusting rituals, bonding an orgy infested festival with our Fathers Passover. It’s really sad and I know our father is unhappy. It’s important to understand the truth and make our father happy. Don’t be caught up in these practices and remember Passover (pascha paschal) in the Greek and cannot be translated to the word easter but only added to our Fathers word. Christians should celebrate Passover and not orgy festivals.
We even see every store in a community selling chocolate covered Easter Bunnies and cute little eggs to go roll around and pretend the bunny hid them. Friend please look into the facts before you practice a ritual that is an abomination to our Father.
